TEN RULES FOR A GOOD DAY
1. Do Not Strike Back (1 Corinthians 13:5)
If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind. . .I will not respond in like manner.
2. Ask God to Bless Your Enemy (Matthew 5:44)
If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask God to bless that individual.
3. Be Careful About What You Say (1 Corinthians 13:7)
I will carefully choose and guard my words, being certain that I do not spread gossip, slander, or malign anyone in any way. The wound from words goes deeper and lasts longer.
4. Go the Extra Mile (John 15:13)
I will find ways to help share the burden of another person. I will find ways to make life more pleasant.
5. Forgive (Ephesians 5:1)
I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way. I will also work to forgive injuries that have been inflicted upon me in the past. I will ask for forgiveness from those I have inflicted (past or present)
I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another person.
7. Treat Others as You Wish to Be Treated (Isaiah 33:17)
I will practice the Golden Rule - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" - with anyone I encounter.
8. Raise the Spirits of Someone Who is Discouraged (1 John 7: 37)
My smile, My words, and my expression of support can make a difference to someone who is wrestling with life
9. Nurture your Body (3 John 2 )
I will eat less; I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank God for my Body and my health.
10. Grow Spiritually
(Psalm 63:3-4)I will spend more time in prayer today. I will begin reading something spiritual and inspirational today. I will find a quiet place (at some point during this day) and study God's Word and stop and listen to what He has to say
